Lead User Experience Designer

Discover Financial Services is looking for a talented Lead User Experience (UX) Designer to join our growing team. The Lead UX Designer will play a key role in shaping the customer experience across all of our digital products and services. The successful candidate needs to have the ability to think big and think small, to focus on the details while keeping the big picture in focus. They must be able to lead, mentor and collaborate with other UX professionals.The ideal candidate will have a passion for the user experience and a strong background in user research, interaction design, and visual design. They should have a portfolio of past work that showcases their development of compelling digital experiences.Qualifications:• 5+ years of user experience design experience• A solid understanding of user-centered design principles and techniques• Expertise in current design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and Axure• Familiarity with front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful products• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills• The ability to rapidly create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows• A portfolio of work that demonstrates your design process and thinking• Experience in the financial services industry is a plus
