Internal Auditor-BSA/AML

Discover Financial Services is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Internal Auditor-BSA/AML to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting and communicating detailed internal audit reviews of our Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) programs. The Internal Auditor-BSA/AML will work closely with our Compliance and Risk teams to ensure our processes meet the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 5 years of experience in BSA/AML compliance and audit, financial services and/or banking experience, and experience in the areas of risk assessment, audit testing and documentation. Responsibilities:

1. Conduct detailed internal audits of Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) programs.
2. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with Compliance and Risk teams.
3. Analyze and document processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
4. Develop and implement risk assessment and audit testing protocols.
5. Review and document audit results.
6. Prepare audit reports and communicate audit findings to key stakeholders.
7. Ensure that customer service and compliance standards are met.
8. Remain current on banking regulations and industry best practices.
9. Utilize excellent verbal and written communication skills.
10. Demonstrate a track record of collaboration and problem solving.
