Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Collections Team Leader to join our team at Discover Financial Services. Our ideal candidate has a passion for developing and leading a team and has a strong understanding of collections strategies and customer service techniques.The Collections Team Leader will be responsible for developing and implementing effective collection strategies, monitoring team performance and providing guidance and support to the team. We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude and the ability to manage and motivate a team.To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of three years of collections experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a proven track record of success in collections. You must also possess the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain professionalism while managing difficult customer interactions, and demonstrate an understanding of collections strategies and laws.
