  1. Lead and manage all AI programs at Discord, ensuring they are completed successfully and on time.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, goals, and timelines.
  3. Develop and maintain project plans, including scope, resources, and budget.
  4. Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
  5. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  6. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing.
  7. Hire, train, and manage a team of AI developers and data scientists.
  8. Stay informed about advancements in AI technology and industry trends, and make recommendations for implementation at Discord.
  9. Work with product managers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  10. Collaborate with QA teams to ensure the quality and accuracy of AI programs.
  11. Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process optimization and efficiency.
  12. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
  13. Represent Discord at industry events and conferences, showcasing our AI capabilities.
  14. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
  15. Maintain a thorough understanding of Discord's products and services, and use that knowledge to inform project decisions and strategies.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Technical Background: A Staff Technical Program Manager At Discord Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Ai Technologies, Programming Languages, And Software Engineering Principles. This Will Enable Them To Effectively Lead And Manage Ai Programs Within The Company.

  • Project Management Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Complex Technical Projects, Preferably In The Field Of Ai. They Should Have Experience With Project Planning, Resource Allocation, Risk Management, And Budgeting.
