- Develop and execute a comprehensive Cost & Efficiency program to improve overall technical costs and processes.
- Identify areas of improvement and cost-saving opportunities within the technical infrastructure of Discord.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, and operations, to implement cost management strategies and drive efficiency.
- Analyze and monitor technical costs and make data-driven recommendations to senior management.
- Lead and manage a team of technical program managers to ensure successful implementation of cost management strategies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities.
- Develop and maintain metrics and reporting systems to track progress and measure the impact of cost management strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in cost management to continuously improve the program.
- Communicate program updates and progress to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve cost management and efficiency across all technical projects.
- Proactively identify potential risks and issues and develop mitigation plans to address them.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and drive a sense of urgency and accountability within the team.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to support their professional growth and development.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies related to cost management.
- Develop and maintain a budget for the Cost & Efficiency program and manage expenses within budgetary constraints.
