Senior GL Accountant

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the general ledger and ensuring accurate financial records. You will need to have a strong understanding of accounting principles and excellent problem-solving skills.We are looking for someone who is a self-starter with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently. You must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field and 5+ years of experience in a similar role. Responsibilities:

-Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate financial records. -Ensure compliance with accounting principles, laws, and regulations. -Prepare and analyze financial statements and other reports. -Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues. -Perform reconciliations of accounts. -Assist with the annual audit process. -Develop and implement internal controls to ensure accuracy of financial records. -Provide accurate and timely financial information to senior management. -Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting. -Stay current with industry trends and best practices. -Assist with any other accounting-related projects and tasks.
