Job Description

At Diesel, our HR Coordinators are the backbone of our human resources team, ensuring that all of our employees have the resources and support they need to succeed. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill this important role. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, exceptional organizational skills, and a strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures. If you have a knack for problem solving and a drive to make a difference in the lives of our employees, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Act as a primary resource to staff and managers for HR inquiries and questions.
  2. Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes, including managing job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and preparing onboarding documents.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including contact information, job titles, and salary information.
  4. Monitor and enforce compliance with state and federal laws, such as the Family and Medical Leave Act, Equal Employment Opportunity regulations, and other applicable regulations.
  5. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, including employee handbooks.
  6. Process payroll, including time and attendance tracking, calculating overtime, and ensuring accuracy of employee paychecks.
  7. Provide support and resources to employees to ensure a positive work environment.
  8. Organize and facilitate employee events and activities.
  9. Analyze employee performance and recommend ways to improve morale and productivity.
  10. Assist with performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
