- Receive and unpack merchandise shipments from vendors and ensure accurate inventory counts.
- Organize and stock merchandise on shelves and in designated areas according to company standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management about stock levels that need to be replenished.
- Maintain a clean and organized stockroom and backroom area.
- Assist in maintaining store appearance by restocking and straightening merchandise on the sales floor.
- Assist customers with locating products and provide excellent customer service.
- Partner with sales associates to ensure merchandise is restocked and available to customers in a timely manner.
- Follow company safety guidelines and procedures when handling merchandise and operating equipment.
- Use inventory management systems to track and update merchandise levels and locations.
- Communicate with management about any issues or concerns regarding inventory or stocking processes.
- Participate in company training programs to learn about new products and procedures.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management to support the overall operation of the store.
Previous Retail Experience: A Stock Associate At Dick’s Sporting Goods Should Have Prior Experience Working In A Retail Environment. This Experience Will Help Them Understand The Company's Policies, Procedures, And Customer Service Expectations.
