Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our team as a Stock Associate at Dick’s Sporting Goods. As a Stock Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of merchandise and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.   1. Receive and process incoming merchandise shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in stocking products onto the sales floor.
  2. Maintain a clean and organized stockroom, including proper organization and labeling of all products.
  3. Monitor and track inventory levels, communicating any discrepancies or low stock levels to management.
  4. Collaborate with sales associates and other team members to ensure merchandise is displayed and restocked in a timely and visually appealing manner.
  5. Assist in setting up and maintaining displays and promotional areas, following company guidelines.
  6. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with locating and retrieving merchandise.
  7. Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accurate stock levels and identify any potential issues.
  8. Follow all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
  9. Communicate effectively with management and fellow team members to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  10. Proactively identify and report any damaged or defective merchandise to management.
  11. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures to increase productivity and efficiency in stock management.
  12. Uphold the company's standards of excellence in customer service and product quality.
  13. Embody the company's values and mission, representing the brand positively at all times.
  14. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
