- Greet and welcome customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in finding and purchasing the right gear for their needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment by regularly restocking shelves, organizing displays, and tidying up the sales floor.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the store's POS system.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all tasks and responsibilities are completed on time.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure products are always available for customers.
- Assist with receiving and unpacking new merchandise, as well as preparing it for display on the sales floor.
- Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures, including safety and security measures.
- Continuously strive to improve store operations and customer service by actively seeking feedback and suggesting new ideas.
- Maintain knowledge of current and upcoming products, promotions, and sales to provide accurate information to customers.
- Follow cash handling procedures and accurately count and reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to improve job knowledge and performance.
- Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Retail Experience: Candidates Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Previous Retail Experience, Preferably In A Similar Role Or In The Sporting Goods Industry.
Strong Customer Service Skills: As A Retail Operations Associate, The Candidate Will Be Interacting With Customers On A Daily Basis. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills Are Essential.
Knowledge Of Sporting Goods: A Solid Understanding Of Different Types Of Sporting Goods, Equipment, And Apparel Is Important For This Role. Knowledge Of Popular Sports And Their Corresponding Products Is Also Beneficial.
Organizational Skills: The Retail Operations Associate Will Be Responsible For Managing Inventory, Restocking Shelves, And Maintaining Store Displays. Strong Organizational Skills Are Necessary To Ensure The Store Runs Smoothly.
Physical Fitness: This Job May Require Lifting, Standing, And Walking For Extended Periods Of Time. Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle The Demands Of The Job.
