- Greet and welcome customers to the store, providing excellent customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Ensure smooth store operations by monitoring inventory levels, restocking shelves, and organizing merchandise displays.
- Assist with customer transactions, including operating the cash register, processing payments, and handling returns and exchanges.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking and tidying up the sales floor and fitting rooms.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and provide a positive shopping experience for customers.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and promotions to effectively assist customers and make recommendations.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner, escalating issues to management as needed.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, to ensure a safe and pleasant shopping experience for customers and employees.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance job performance and contribute to the success of the store.
- Proactively seek out opportunities to improve store operations and customer satisfaction, providing feedback and suggestions to management.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Education Requirement For This Position Is A High School Diploma Or Ged Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Knowledge And Skills Necessary To Perform The Job Duties.
Prior Retail Experience: Previous Experience In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Similar Role, Is Highly Preferred For This Position. This Includes Experience In Customer Service, Cashiering, And Inventory Management.
Strong Communication Skills: As A Retail Operations Associate, Effective Communication Is Key In Interacting With Customers, Colleagues, And Management. This Includes Verbal And Written Communication, As Well As Active Listening Skills.
Excellent Organizational And Time-Management Skills: The Ability To Prioritize Tasks, Manage Time Effectively, And Maintain A Tidy And Organized Work Environment Is Crucial For Success In This Role. This Includes The Ability To Multitask And Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Retail Environment.
Knowledge Of Sporting Goods And Equipment: While Not Required, A Passion For Sports And Knowledge Of Sporting Goods And Equipment Can Be Beneficial For This Role. This Includes Being Familiar With Different Brands, Products, And Their Features, As Well As An Understanding Of Basic Equipment Maintenance.
