- Greet and welcome customers to Dick's Sporting Goods with a positive and friendly attitude.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries, finding products, and processing transactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment by regularly restocking shelves, tidying up displays, and ensuring merchandise is properly labeled.
- Process and handle incoming and outgoing shipments, including unpacking, labeling, and organizing products.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient store operations and a positive shopping experience for customers.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to address any issues or concerns.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and cash handling guidelines.
- Continuously maintain knowledge of products, promotions, and store layout to assist customers and make product recommendations.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels by accurately counting and organizing products.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures.

Excellent Customer Service Skills: A Retail Operations Associate At Dick’s Sporting Goods Should Possess Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Provide Exceptional Customer Service To All Customers. This Includes Being Able To Handle And Resolve Customer Inquiries And Complaints In A Professional And Efficient Manner.
Retail Experience: Candidates For This Role Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Similar Role. This Includes Knowledge Of Retail Operations, Such As Inventory Management, Merchandising, And Cashiering.
Team Player: As A Member Of The Retail Operations Team, The Associate Should Be Able To Work Well In A Team Environment. This Includes Being Able To Collaborate With Coworkers, Take Direction From Managers, And Support Team Goals.
Organizational Skills: A Retail Operations Associate Should Have Excellent Organizational Skills To Help Keep The Store Running Smoothly. This Includes Managing Inventory, Stocking Shelves, And Ensuring The Store Is Clean And Well-Maintained.
Physical Stamina: This Role Requires Standing, Walking, And Lifting For Extended Periods Of Time. Therefore, Candidates Should Have The Physical Stamina To Perform These Tasks And Be Able To Lift Up To 50 Pounds.
