We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Retail Golf Equipment Sales Associate to join our team at Dick's Sporting Goods. As a Sales Associate, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise and passion for the sport with customers while providing exceptional service and building lasting relationships.   1. Utilize extensive knowledge of golf equipment to assist customers in finding the best products to improve their game.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and engaging with all customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
  4. Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technology in the golf industry to effectively communicate product information to customers.
  5. Operate cash register and handle financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring all products are properly displayed and stocked.
  7. Collaborate with teammates to achieve sales goals and provide a seamless shopping experience for customers.
  8. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and enhance the customer experience.
  9. Comply with company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, safety and loss prevention measures.
  10. Attend training sessions and product knowledge seminars to stay informed about product updates and changes.
  11. Utilize sales techniques to upsell and cross-sell products to increase revenue.
  12. Handle and resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  13. Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves as needed.
  14. Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.
  15. Adhere to all rules and regulations regarding the handling and selling of restricted items such as firearms and ammunition.

They Should Also Be Aware Of The Latest Trends And Technology In The Industry.

  • Sales And Marketing Experience: A Strong Candidate For This Role Should Have Experience In Sales And Marketing, Preferably In A Retail Setting. This Will Allow Them To Effectively Promote And Sell Golf Equipment To Customers.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Crucial For A Retail Golf Equipment Sales Associate. They Must Be Able To Clearly Convey Information About Products, Promotions, And Sales To Customers In A Professional And Persuasive Manner.
