  1. Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, promoting a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the golf department.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to customers' needs and offering personalized recommendations and solutions.
  3. Utilize extensive knowledge of golf equipment and technology to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring all products are properly displayed and stocked.
  5. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the company's point of sale system.
  6. Continuously expand knowledge and understanding of golf equipment and technology through training and self-education.
  7. Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and promote customer loyalty.
  8. Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide a seamless shopping experience for customers.
  9. Stay up to date on industry trends and new product releases to effectively communicate with customers.
  10. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety and loss prevention measures.

  • Knowledge Of Golf Equipment And Terminology: A Retail Golf Equipment Sales Associate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Different Types Of Golf Clubs, Balls, And Other Related Equipment To Effectively Assist Customers In Making Informed Purchases.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: This Position Requires Interacting With Customers On A Daily Basis, So Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential. Sales Associates Should Be Able To Provide Friendly And Helpful Service To Create A Positive Shopping Experience For Customers.

  • Retail Sales Experience: Experience In A Retail Environment, Particularly In Sporting Goods Or Golf Equipment Sales, Is Important For This Role. Candidates Should Be Familiar With Sales Techniques And Be Able To Meet Or Exceed Sales Goals.

  • Attention To Detail: As Golf Equipment Can Be Expensive And Highly Specialized, A Retail Golf Equipment Sales Associate Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure That Products Are Accurately Priced And Labeled. They Should Also Be Able To Spot Any Defects Or Issues With Merchandise.

  • Physical Fitness And Ability To Lift Heavy Items: This Job May Require Some Heavy Lifting, As Golf Clubs And Other Equipment Can Be Quite Heavy. Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Lift And Move Items Throughout The Store For Customer Assistance And Restocking Purposes.
