We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Retail Customer Service Specialist to join our team. As a Retail Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about sports and have a strong desire to help others. If you have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a love for all things sports-related, we would love to have you on our team!

  1. Greet and welcome customers to the store in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, product recommendations, and purchases.
  3. Ensure all customers are satisfied with their experience at Dick’s Sporting Goods.
  4. Maintain a thorough knowledge of all products and services offered by the company.
  5. Assist customers with finding and trying on products, as well as checking out at the register.
  6. Handle customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  7. Keep the store clean, organized, and properly stocked at all times.
  8. Assist in merchandising and restocking products on the sales floor.
  9. Collaborate with team members to create a positive and efficient work environment.
  10. Continuously strive to improve customer service skills and knowledge of products and services offered.
  11. Promote and sell store services, such as equipment maintenance and repair.
  12. Follow company policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of customers and employees.
  13. Provide feedback to management regarding customer needs and preferences.
  14. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
  15. Attend training sessions and team meetings to stay up-to-date on new products and promotions.
  16. Act as a brand ambassador by representing the company in a professional and positive manner.
  17. Assist with inventory management, including restocking and conducting physical inventory counts.
  18. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to loss prevention and safety.
  19. Maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm while interacting with customers.
  20. Other duties as assigned by management.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: A Retail Customer Service Specialist Must Possess Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Customers And Provide Them With A Positive Shopping Experience.   • Problem-Solving Skills: Retail Customer Service Specialists Often Encounter Challenging Situations And Must Be Able To Think On Their Feet To Find Solutions. Having Strong Problem-Solving Skills Will Enable Them To Handle Customer Complaints And Resolve Any Issues That May Arise.
