- Greet customers and provide a warm welcome to the store.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries and purchases.
- Operate cash register and accurately process transactions, including cash, credit, and gift card payments.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier area, including keeping track of cash and inventory.
- Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, and store policies to accurately communicate with customers.
- Assist customers with locating products and provide recommendations based on their needs.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.
- Uphold company standards for cash handling, customer service, and store appearance.
- Continuously learn about new products and promotions to effectively communicate with customers.
- Adhere to all safety and security procedures to protect company assets.
- Maintain a positive and friendly attitude towards customers and fellow team members.
- Assist with restocking and merchandising products on the sales floor.
- Attend team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Prior Experience In Cash Handling Or Customer Service: A Successful Candidate For The Retail Cashier Role At Dick’s Sporting Goods Should Have Prior Experience Handling Cash And Providing Excellent Customer Service In A Fast-Paced Environment.
