
Retail - Bike Technician

- Perform bike repairs and maintenance: The Bike Technician will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on a variety of bikes, including road, mountain, and hybrid bikes. This includes diagnosing issues, replacing parts, and ensuring that the bikes are safe and functional.
- Assemble new bikes: The Bike Technician will be responsible for assembling new bikes for customers. This requires strong technical skills and attention to detail to ensure that each bike is properly assembled and ready for use.
- Provide exceptional customer service: As the first point of contact for customers, the Bike Technician will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service. This includes greeting customers, answering questions, and providing recommendations on bike repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace: The Bike Technician will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including the bike repair area and storage areas. This includes keeping tools and equipment in good working condition and properly storing parts and supplies.
- Communicate effectively with team members: The Bike Technician will be part of a retail team and must be able to communicate effectively with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience. Knowledge Of Bicycle Mechanics: A Strong Understanding Of Bike Mechanics, Including Maintenance, Repairs, And Adjustments Is Essential For This Role. This Includes Knowledge Of Different Bike Types, Components, And Tools.
Customer Service Skills: As A Retail Bike Technician, You Will Be Interacting With Customers On A Daily Basis. Strong Customer Service Skills, Including Communication And Problem-Solving, Are Crucial For Ensuring Customer Satisfaction.
Experience With Bike Assembly: The Ability To Assemble New Bikes And Perform Safety Checks Is An Important Aspect Of This Job. Previous Experience With Bike Assembly Is Preferred, But On-The-Job Training May Be Provided.
Attention To Detail: As A Bike Technician, You Will Be Responsible For Ensuring Bikes Are Properly Assembled, Maintained, And Repaired. Attention To Detail Is Critical To Ensure The Safety And Functionality Of Each Bike.
Physical Fitness: This Role Requires Standing For Long Periods, Lifting Heavy Objects, And Working With Tools And Equipment. Physical Fitness And The Ability To Handle The Physical Demands Of The Job Are Necessary For Success.
