  1. Serve as an expert in all aspects of baseball, including equipment, rules, and trends.
  2. Greet and engage customers with enthusiasm and provide exceptional customer service at all times.
  3. Assist customers in finding the perfect baseball gear and equipment for their needs.
  4. Educate customers on the latest baseball products and technologies.
  5. Maintain a thorough knowledge of all products and services offered at Dick's Sporting Goods.
  6. Assist in merchandising and restocking of baseball products on the sales floor.
  7. Handle customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and escalate as needed.
  8. Actively participate in store events and promotions to promote baseball products.
  9. Keep up to date with industry trends and new products to provide customers with the most current information.
  10. Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and efficient customer experience.
  11. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  13. Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and enjoyable shopping experience for customers.
  14. Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales goals and customer satisfaction targets.
  15. Represent the Dick's Sporting Goods brand in a positive and professional manner.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Baseball: A Retail Baseball Ambassador At Dick’s Sporting Goods Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Game Of Baseball, Including Rules, Equipment, And Current Trends In The Sport.

  • Customer Service Skills: As An Ambassador For The Store, It Is Important For The Candidate To Have Excellent Customer Service Skills, Including The Ability To Assist Customers With Their Purchases, Answer Questions About Products, And Provide Recommendations.

  • Sales Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Prior Sales Experience In A Retail Setting, With A Proven Track Record Of Meeting And Exceeding Sales Targets. This Will Be Essential In Promoting And Selling Baseball-Related Products To Customers.
