- Ensure that all customers receive a positive shopping experience and address any customer concerns or complaints.
- Help drive sales by monitoring and analyzing store performance and implementing strategies to increase profitability.
- Train and develop new and existing employees to ensure they have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including merchandise displays and inventory management.
- Assist in creating and implementing sales and promotional events to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Communicate effectively with the Store Manager and other team members to ensure a cohesive and efficient work environment.

- Provide input and feedback to the Store Manager regarding employee performance, customer needs, and any other relevant issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge to better assist customers and drive sales.

Previous Retail Management Experience: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Supervisory Or Management Role Within A Retail Environment. This Experience Should Demonstrate Strong Leadership Skills, The Ability To Manage A Team, And A Track Record Of Achieving Sales Goals.
Knowledge Of Sporting Goods And Outdoor Equipment: As An Assistant Store Manager At Dick’s Sporting Goods, It Is Important To Have A Strong Understanding Of The Products And Brands Sold In The Store.
