Welcome to Dick's Sporting Goods! We are currently seeking an experienced and driven individual to join our team as an Analyst for Floor Planning. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our stores are strategically and efficiently laid out to maximize sales and customer experience.   1. Analyze sales data and customer traffic patterns to develop effective floor plans for our stores.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising and store operations, to understand business priorities and incorporate them into floor planning strategies.
  3. Utilize space planning software to create and modify floor plans that meet merchandising and operational objectives.
  4. Conduct store visits to gather data and make recommendations for layout improvements.
  5. Monitor and analyze industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our floor planning strategies.
  6. Communicate with store managers and district managers to ensure floor plans are executed accurately and efficiently.
  7. Develop and maintain documentation of floor plans and layouts for all stores.
  8. Identify and address any issues or concerns related to store layouts and make necessary adjustments.
  9. Collaborate with real estate and construction teams to ensure new store layouts are aligned with company standards.
  10. Train and mentor new team members on floor planning processes and software.
  11. Monitor and analyze sales and customer feedback to make data-driven decisions for future floor planning strategies.
  12. Proactively identify and resolve any potential issues or roadblocks to effective floor planning.
  13. Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in all floor planning activities.
  14. Contribute to the development and implementation of company-wide floor planning policies and procedures.
  15. Act as a subject matter expert on retail space management and share best practices with the team.
