
Sector Head - Business Development
Recruit, hire and provide coaching and development to account management staff. Assign work, set completion dates, review work, and manage performance in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and performance management processes. Oversee sales revenue generation, profit and/or expense objectives for the account management function. Develop sales plans and budgets for achieving sales goals within a defined set of key accounts. Manage the key account planning process, develop and executes strategic plans (through subordinates) for all key accounts. Assist account management representatives in maintaining and expanding critical accounts. Identify and pursues growth opportunities for key accounts. Periodically visits key markets to investigate operations and local conditions. May maintain personal responsibility for one or more key accounts. Consults with peers and top management in long-range company planning.
