1. Receive and unload incoming shipments from trucks and ensure that all items are accounted for and properly documented.
2. Organize and store products in designated areas of the warehouse, labeling and tagging as necessary.
3. Use equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials within the warehouse.
4. Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and report any discrepancies to management.
5. Ensure that all products are stored safely and securely to prevent damage or loss.
6. Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications and prepare them for shipping.
7. Operate packaging machinery and equipment to ensure products are properly packed and ready for shipment.
8. Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks efficiently and meet daily production goals.
9. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
10. Keep work area clean and organized, and report any maintenance or safety issues to management.
11. Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members to ensure a smooth flow of materials and products.
12. Act as a brand ambassador for DHL, providing excellent customer service to clients and representing the company in a professional manner.
13. Continuously look for ways to improve processes and increase efficiency within the warehouse.
14. Train and mentor new Material Handlers as needed.
15. Be adaptable and able to work in various areas of the warehouse as needed.
