  1. Operate forklifts to move and organize packages in a safe and efficient manner.
  2. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  3. Inspect forklifts before each use to ensure proper functioning and report any issues to management.
  4. Load and unload packages onto and off of trucks and trailers.
  5. Maintain accurate records of packages and their locations within the warehouse.
  6. Work closely with team members to coordinate and prioritize tasks.
  7. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.
  8. Assist in inventory management and tracking of packages.
  9. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or obstacles in the shipping and receiving process.
  10. Follow all company policies and procedures, including proper handling of hazardous materials.
  11. Keep work area clean and organized to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
  12. Continuously look for ways to improve processes and increase efficiency.
  13. Attend training sessions and safety meetings to stay updated on best practices.
  14. Provide excellent customer service by handling packages with care and delivering them on time.
  15. Maintain a positive attitude and work as a team player to contribute to the success of the company.

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Forklift Operator Certification: The Candidate Must Possess A Valid Forklift Operator Certification From An Accredited Training Program.

  • Prior Experience: The Candidate Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience Operating A Forklift In A Warehouse Or Logistics Environment.

  • Physical Fitness: The Job Of A Forklift Operator Requires Physical Stamina And Strength. The Candidate Must Be Fit Enough To Perform Tasks Such As Lifting And Moving Heavy Loads, Standing For Long Periods, And Operating A Forklift For Extended Periods.

  • Attention To Detail: A Forklift Operator Must Have Excellent Attention To Detail To Ensure The Safe And Accurate Movement Of Goods Within The Warehouse. They Should Be Able To Read And Understand Work Orders, Locate And Load/Unload Items Accurately, And Perform Routine Maintenance Checks On The Forklift.

  • Safety Awareness: Safety Is Of The Utmost Importance In A Warehouse Environment. The Candidate Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Warehouse Safety Protocols And Be Able To Follow Them At All Times. They Should Also Have Experience With Operating A Forklift In A Safe And Responsible Manner, Including Knowledge Of Osha Regulations.
