- Develop and implement a comprehensive labor relations strategy in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with labor unions, negotiating collective bargaining agreements and resolving any disputes that may arise.
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations at the local, state, and federal levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement policies and procedures related to labor relations.
- Provide guidance and support to management and supervisors on labor relations issues, including interpretation of collective bargaining agreements and handling grievances.
- Conduct investigations and mediate conflicts related to labor relations.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees and management on labor relations policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in labor laws and regulations, and make recommendations for adjustments to the company's labor relations strategy.
- Monitor and analyze data related to labor relations, identifying areas for improvement and developing action plans to address them.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees and labor unions, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by promoting open communication, trust, and respect among all employees.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Labor Relations, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Labor Relations, Preferably In A Large Organization.
Extensive Knowledge Of Federal And State Labor Laws, Regulations, And Compliance Requirements.
Strong Negotiation And Conflict Resolution Skills.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships With Unions, Employees, And Management.
