Airfreight Manager
Lead and develop a team of 20+ people. Have a sit in the station SMT. Manages and drives performance of AFR Product teams (imports and Exports) Defines, implements and executes AFR strategy for the Station. AFR PNL owner. Responsible for pricing and internal rates. Ensures implementation of BD opportunities within Miami scope. Drives implementation of AFR strategy for Miami station (translates requirements, implements, ensures realization of strategy and monitors). Sets, communicates and follows KPIs to ensure constant improvement of operation KPIS. Creates, develops and maintains good relationships with service provider. Directs and controls all pricing activities required. Supervises identification and implementation of new products within the station. Supports Sales in interaction with key customers.
6+ years’ experience of Airfreight Forwarding business required
2+ years’ leadership experience strongly preferred
Experience using CargoWise software preferred
