Monthly Accounting Closes; process all entry requests, consolidate results, load to Crest. Construct and utilize Accounting Close Checklist to ensure completeness of results. Ensure account reconciliations are completed and reviewed in a timely manner. Ensure accurate mapping of CLI to Crest. Ensure compliance with DHL Accounting policy. Schedule and manage quarterly balance sheet reviews. Review all accounting incorporated as part of STDF policies. Review/approve all IT system changes which will have impacts on the general ledger. Coordinate accounting-related remediation of issues noted in Internal Audit reports. Interface to other groups (Tax, Audit, etc.). Schedule monthly Day 4 draft P&L reviews with the CEO and CFO. Ensure any adjusting entries are booked promptly and accurately. Ensure books and records are stated accurately; assets and liabilities properly stated, revenue and costs properly recognized.
