- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their academic progress and performance, and offer additional support or resources as needed.
- Stay current with advancements and developments in the field of ethics and incorporate relevant and timely examples into course content.
- Serve as a mentor and advisor to students, offering guidance and support in their academic and professional pursuits.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure consistency and continuity in course delivery and evaluation.
- Participate in faculty meetings and professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and contribute to the university's academic community.
- Maintain regular office hours to meet with students and address their questions and concerns.
- Uphold and promote the university's mission, values, and code of ethics in all interactions with students, colleagues, and staff.
Advanced Degree In Ethics Or Related Field: A Visiting Professor For Ethics At Devry University Should Hold A Terminal Degree In Ethics Or A Closely Related Field Such As Philosophy, Religious Studies, Or Law. This Qualification Demonstrates A Deep Understanding Of Ethical Theories And Principles, As Well As The Ability To Critically Analyze And Evaluate Ethical Dilemmas.
Teaching Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Teaching Ethics At The University Level. This Includes Experience Developing Course Materials, Delivering Lectures, Facilitating Class Discussions, And Assessing Student Learning. Previous Teaching Experience At A For-Profit Institution Like Devry University Is A Plus.
Industry Experience: In Addition To Academic Qualifications, A Visiting Professor For Ethics Should Have Relevant Industry Experience.
