- Lead a team of underwriters to ensure timely and efficient completion of underwriting processes.

- Mentor and train junior underwriters to develop their skills and expertise in alternative credit underwriting.
- Collaborate with sales and business development teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and incorporate them into the underwriting process.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports on underwriting activities to senior management.
- Act as a subject matter expert on alternative credit underwriting and provide guidance and support to colleagues and other departments within the bank.
Extensive Experience In Underwriting Alternative Credit Products - The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In Underwriting Alternative Credit Products Such As Private Equity, Real Estate, Or Hedge Fund Investments. This Experience Should Include A Deep Understanding Of The Underwriting Process, Risk Assessment, And Deal Structuring.
Strong Knowledge Of Financial Markets And Products - As An Underwriting Lead For Alternative Credit, The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Financial Markets And Various Products Such As Leveraged Loans, Mezzanine Financing, And Distressed Debt. This Knowledge Is Essential For Accurately Assessing The Risk And Return Potential Of Alternative Credit Investments.
Ability To Lead And Manage A Team - The Underwriting Lead Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Underwriters And Analysts.
