- Conduct data analysis to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities in our systems.
- Monitor and analyze security logs, network traffic, and other data sources to identify and respond to potential security incidents.
- Develop and maintain threat detection and prevention strategies to mitigate risks and protect the integrity of our data.
- Collaborate with other team members to continuously improve and enhance our threat analytics processes and tools.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies to proactively identify and address potential threats.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of threat analytics processes, procedures, and findings.
- Communicate and report potential security threats and incidents to relevant stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.
- Conduct investigations and root cause analysis of security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation.
- Participate in regular security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Train and educate other team members on threat analytics best practices and procedures.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive data and information.
- Identify and escalate any potential security risks or weaknesses in our systems to management.
- Collaborate with external security partners and vendors to enhance our threat detection and prevention capabilities.
- Act as a subject matter expert on threat analytics and provide guidance and support to other teams within the organization.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the organization's goals and objectives to align threat analytics strategies with business needs.
Strong Analytical Skills: A Threat Analytics Data Analyst At Deutsche Bank Should Possess Excellent Analytical Skills, Including The Ability To Analyze Large And Complex Data Sets, Identify Patterns And Trends, And Draw Meaningful Insights And Conclusions.
Knowledge Of Threat Intelligence: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Threat Intelligence And Be Able To Analyze And Interpret Threat Data From Various Sources, Including Internal And External Feeds, To Identify Potential Risks And Vulnerabilities.
Experience With Data Analytics Tools: Proficiency In Using Data Analytics Tools Such As Splunk, Arcsight, And Ibm Qradar Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Be Able To Leverage These Tools To Identify And Mitigate Potential Threats To The Bank's Network And Systems.
Familiarity With Security Frameworks: A Good Understanding Of Security Frameworks Such As Nist, Iso, And Cis Is Essential For A Threat Analytics Data Analyst At Deutsche Bank. The Candidate Should Be Able To Apply These Frameworks To Analyze And Assess The Bank's Security Posture And Identify Areas For Improvement.
