  1. Monitor and maintain the reliability and availability of critical systems to ensure uninterrupted payment processing for clients.
  2. Identify and troubleshoot any issues or incidents that may arise, taking timely and appropriate action to resolve them.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and continuous improvements to the payment systems.
  4. Proactively identify potential weaknesses or vulnerabilities in the systems and develop solutions to mitigate them.
  5. Develop and maintain monitoring tools and processes to ensure early detection of system issues.
  6. Work closely with software development teams to ensure new features and updates are implemented with minimal disruption to the systems.
  7. Conduct regular performance testing and analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimize system performance.
  8. Participate in the creation and maintenance of disaster recovery plans and procedures.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in payments technology to bring innovative solutions to the team.
  10. Communicate updates and progress to stakeholders, including senior management, in a clear and concise manner.
  11. Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory and compliance requirements.
  13. Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Managing And Maintaining Mission-Critical Payment Systems, Including Knowledge Of Payment Protocols And Standards Such As Swift, Sepa, And Ach.

  • Strong Understanding Of Software Development And Automation Tools, Including Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As Java, Python, And/Or Ruby.

  • Proven Track Record In Designing, Building, And Deploying Highly Available And Scalable Systems, With A Focus On Fault Tolerance And Disaster Recovery.

  • Deep Understanding Of Cloud Computing Technologies And Experience In Implementing And Managing Infrastructure As Code Using Tools Such As Terraform And Ansible.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams Including Developers, Operations, And Business Stakeholders To Ensure The Reliability And Performance Of Payment Systems.
