- Develop and implement data management strategies and capabilities across all regional offices of Deutsche Bank.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data by establishing and enforcing data management policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with various departments, including IT, risk management, and compliance, to identify and address data management needs and challenges.
- Identify areas for improvement in data management processes and systems, and drive innovation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead a team of data management professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality data management practices.
- Monitor and track data quality metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data management, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Work closely with IT teams to ensure data management systems and tools are optimized for the needs of the business.
- Collaborate with other regional and global data management teams to share best practices and drive standardization across the organization.
- Represent Deutsche Bank's data management capabilities to external stakeholders, including clients, regulators, and industry bodies.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations and policies.
- Develop and manage budgets for data management initiatives and projects.
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and promote data literacy across the organization.
- Continuously assess and improve data management processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Drive a high-performance culture within the data management team, setting clear goals and expectations and providing regular feedback and recognition.
Extensive Experience In Data Management: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Data Management, With A Focus On Regional Operations. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Data Governance, Data Quality, And Data Integration.
Strong Leadership Skills: The Head Of Regional Data Management Capabilities Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Data Management Professionals. Therefore, The Candidate Should Have Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Inspire Team Members, Facilitate Collaboration, And Drive Results.
Strategic Thinking: This Role Requires A Candidate Who Can Think Strategically And Develop A Long-Term Vision For Data Management Capabilities In The Region. They Should Be Able To Identify Opportunities For Improvement And Innovation, And Develop A Roadmap To Achieve The Desired Outcomes.
Technical Expertise: The Head Of Regional Data Management Capabilities Should Have A Strong Technical Background, Including Knowledge Of Data Management Tools And Technologies. They Should Also Have Experience In Data Analysis And Reporting, As Well As The Ability To Troubleshoot Technical Issues.
