- Develop and implement enterprise-wide security architecture and strategy to protect customers, employees, and data from evolving security threats.
- Conduct regular security risk assessments and identify vulnerabilities and potential threats to the organization.
- Lead and manage a team of information security experts to ensure the implementation and maintenance of effective security measures.
- Collaborate with various teams and departments, including IT, risk management, and compliance, to ensure alignment and integration of security policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on the latest security trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements to ensure the organization's security practices are up-to-date and compliant.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the organization in areas such as secure coding, network security, data protection, and cloud security.
- Conduct regular security training and awareness programs for employees to promote a culture of security and risk awareness.
- Monitor and analyze security logs and events to identify potential security incidents and respond to them in a timely and effective manner.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and industry experts to stay informed about emerging threats and security solutions.
- Make recommendations for security improvements and investments based on risk assessments and the organization's overall security posture.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on the organization's security posture, incidents, and risk management efforts.
- Participate in incident response and disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Act as a subject matter expert on security-related matters and represent the organization in industry forums and events.
- Foster a culture of security and risk awareness throughout the organization by promoting best practices and providing guidance and support to all employees.
Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Information Security: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Possess A Strong Background In Information Security, With A Deep Understanding Of Security Principles, Protocols, And Tools.
Proven Track Record In Enterprise Security Architecture: The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Designing And Implementing Enterprise Security Architecture In A Large And Complex Organization. This Includes Experience With Security Frameworks, Risk Assessment, And Security Controls.
Leadership Skills: As A Vice President, This Role Requires Strong Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Other Departments. The Candidate Should Have Experience In Leading And Mentoring A Team Of Security Professionals.
Industry Certifications: The Candidate Should Possess Relevant Industry Certifications Such As Cissp, Cism, Or Cisa To Demonstrate Their Expertise And Knowledge In Information Security.
