In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data residency policies and access controls to safeguard our clients' information and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.   1. Develop and implement data residency policies to ensure compliance with global data privacy laws and regulations.
  2. Establish and maintain access controls to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.
  3. Monitor and analyze data residency and access control processes to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and mitigate risks related to data residency and access controls.
  5. Stay up-to-date on changes and developments in data privacy laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  6. Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of data residency policies and access controls.
  7. Create and deliver training programs to educate employees on data privacy and security best practices.
  8. Work closely with IT teams to implement technical solutions that support data residency and access control requirements.
  9. Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to internal stakeholders on data residency and access control matters.
  10. Proactively identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for enhancing data privacy and security processes.
  11. Stay informed of emerging technologies and industry trends that may impact data residency and access control practices.
  12. Collaborate with external partners and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment with data residency requirements.
  13. Prepare and present reports to senior management on data residency and access control initiatives and performance.
  14. Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and communicate effectively to drive awareness and understanding of data privacy and security requirements.
  15. Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and ethical conduct in handling sensitive information.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Systems, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Data Residency And Access Controls Within The Financial Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Data Governance Principles And Regulatory Requirements, Such As Gdpr And Ccpa.

  • Experience With Data Privacy And Security Tools, Such As Data Masking And Encryption.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work With Cross-Functional Teams And Senior Stakeholders.
