Job Description

As a Lab Support Engineer , you will be responsible for maintaining the infrastructure in a datacenter. This includes deploying new equipment, troubleshooting basic problems, helping customers configure their servers and many other tasks. You will be working with the latest servers and storage and learning the newest technologies. Rack/stack new hardware, cable and configure hardware. Help troubleshoot basic problems. Assist in maintaining the datacenter environment as needed. This is a hands-on technical position, and deep knowledge of services infrastructure and platforms is crucial for immediate success. Support VMware vSphere / vCenter patch management tools and procedures and knowledge on VMware-related vulnerability management and prepare remediation plans to fix high-risk vulnerabilities.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience working with computer hardware. (preferably Dell systems)

  • Computer System Engineer related field is preferred with than six years’ experience required.

  • Intermediate experience as Linux/Unix System Administrator (Redhat, CentOS, SUSE, Debian/Ubuntu).

  • Knowledge in Virtualization (VMware Portfolio Preferred).

  • Experience integrating with IPAM like Netbox or Bluecat with Ansible or other automation.
