At Dell, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Incident Response Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an expert in network security, incident response, and digital forensics, with the ability to quickly identify, investigate, and mitigate security threats. We are seeking someone with an understanding of the latest technologies and security trends, as well as a passion for staying up-to-date on the latest security measures. The successful candidate will have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.To be considered for this role, you must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, at least five years of experience in incident response and digital forensics, and a working knowledge of security operations and technologies. A valid security certification, such as the GIAC Security Expert (GSE) or the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), is also highly desirable.If you have a passion for the security field and have the experience and credentials to back it up, then we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Monitor networks for security threats and take appropriate measures to mitigate them.
- Investigate and analyze security incidents in order to identify the root cause and prevent future occurrences.
- Implement appropriate security measures to protect networks and data.
- Develop and maintain systems and procedures for incident response.
- Perform digital forensics to identify and analyze malware, malicious software, and other security threats.
- Create and maintain reports on security incidents and investigations.
- Educate and advise team members on security best practices.
- Stay abreast of the latest security trends and technologies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the security of networks and systems.
- Participate in regular security audits and assessments.
