Supervisor - People Scheduling

Del Monte Foods is seeking an experienced and motivated Supervisor - People Scheduling to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning and scheduling employees, strong communication and organizational skills, and an understanding of the food industry.This Supervisor - People Scheduling will be responsible for managing the scheduling of all personnel across multiple shifts and will ensure that the staff are properly scheduled to meet customer demand. This role requires a person who is detail-oriented and able to quickly adjust to changing demands.The successful candidate must have a minimum of two years of experience in employee scheduling, a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, and be able to work in a high-pressure environment. Responsibilities:

1. Manage the scheduling of all personnel across multiple shifts to meet customer demand.
2. Ensure that staff is adequately scheduled and organized to meet the demands of the business.
3. Analyze and adjust scheduling as needed based on changing customer demand.
4. Communicate effectively with staff and other departments to ensure proper scheduling.
5. Monitor employee performance and provide feedback in order to ensure quality customer service.
6. Develop and maintain relationships with staff to promote a positive work environment.
7. Track attendance and absences of personnel and communicate with managers and supervisors.
8. Handle scheduling-related questions and complaints from employees and customers.
9. Prepare and maintain accurate records of employee scheduling.
10. Research and recommend solutions for scheduling-related issues.
