
Manager Planning Plant/Manufacturing
Obtain production requirements from Production Planning & Inventory Control (PPIC). During the off season, determine monthly production for each item based on plan efficiencies and budget requirements. During the season, review PPIC requirements and advise if production can be accomplished as planned. Issue daily production plan to the materials group, production staff, and PPIC. Advise of any pack or labeling priorities and issue production/labeling instructions to plant. Manage brite inventories and bulk inventories. Ensure in-house brite inventories are at the lowest level possible prior to Fresh Pack. Publish Daily Actual Production versus Planned (balance to pack). Analyze long-term production plans and develop seasonal capacity planning models showing planned production and available capacity. Identify and lead process improvement initiatives related to execution and planned growth.
Demonstrated resilience and capacity to lead a team through periods of change.
Minimum five (5) years of experience in food manufacturing, distribution, supply chain management, production/material planning
Must be trained with Integrated Planning Systems (ERP/DRP/MPS/MRP/CRP).
SAP knowledge strongly preferred.
