
Continuous Improvement Manager
Be a champion of the lean manufacturing methodology, providing mentoring and support to each production facility to which the manager is assigned. Leads implementation of Lean manufacturing concepts including KPI. Development, 5S, Kaizen, Visual Controls, Standard Work, Pull, Value Stream Mapping, Total Productive Maintenance and SMED. Drives the company-wide continuous improvement effort to maximize safety, quality, and cost. Develops and deploys metrics for monitoring the progress being made in each facility with emphasis on reporting OEE and cost reduction opportunities. Designs and leads Kaizen events that will positively impact the business unit operations. Leads, facilitates, or participates in Six-Sigma projects. Communicates to management and peers key outcomes, best practices, and cost improvement efforts. Provides training on Lean to employees; Lean "Basics" and "Lean Knowledge" trainings.
3-5 years of manufacturing experience in a high mix process-oriented environment.
Ability to travel frequently to support multiple manufacturing operations
