Registered Dietitian

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Dietitian to join our DaVita Kidney Care team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical nutrition therapy (MNT) services to individuals with chronic kidney disease (CKD) in an outpatient setting.To succeed in this position, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and be registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). A minimum of one year of experience in providing MNT to individuals with CKD is also required. Responsibilities:

1. Provide high-quality medical nutrition therapy (MNT) services to individuals with chronic kidney disease (CKD) in an outpatient setting.
2. Monitor and assess nutritional status of patients with CKD and develop individualized nutrition care plans.
3. Educate patients and their families about nutrition and lifestyle changes that can improve their kidney health.
4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients with CKD.
5. Document patient nutrition assessments, progress, and care plans in accordance with professional and organizational standards.
6. Participate in meetings and other activities to promote awareness and understanding of CKD nutrition.
7. Keep up-to-date with current evidence-based nutrition guidelines for CKD.
8. Maintain up-to-date licensure and certification with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
