Patient Care Technician

We’re looking for a compassionate and dedicated professional to join our team as a Patient Care Technician at DaVita Kidney Care. In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care and support to dialysis patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse.To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or GED, and be a certified Patient Care Technician. Previous experience in patient care, medical terminology and basic computer skills are also required. Responsibilities:

1. Provide direct patient care to dialysis patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
2. Assist with patient assessment, treatments, and medications.
3. Document patient care activities in a timely and accurate manner.
4. Monitor and address patient needs and concerns.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
6. Perform basic laboratory tests and sample collections.
7. Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
8. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
9. Assist with patient transportation and discharge.
10. Participate in educational activities and professional development.
