- Provide direct care to patients undergoing dialysis treatments.
- Work closely with the healthcare team to ensure the comfort and well-being of patients.
- Monitor and record vital signs, blood pressure, and weight of patients.
- Prepare dialysis equipment and assist with setup and breakdown of treatment.
- Administer medications and perform basic medical procedures as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment.
- Take part in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on dialysis techniques and procedures.
- Follow all infection control and safety protocols.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Patient Care Technician Must Have At Least A High School Diploma Or Equivalent To Be Considered For The Job. This Ensures That They Have A Basic Level Of Education And Can Understand And Follow Instructions.
Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification: Many Patient Care Technician Positions Require A Cna Certification. This Certification Ensures That The Candidate Has Received Training In Basic Nursing Skills And Has A Good Understanding Of Patient Care.
