  1. Provide direct patient care: This includes assisting patients with their dialysis treatments, monitoring vital signs, and responding to patient needs and concerns.
  2. Support healthcare team: Work alongside nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective patient care. This may involve tasks such as setting up equipment, restocking supplies, and documenting patient information.
  3. Maintain a clean and safe environment: Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure the safety and well-being of patients and staff.
  4. Communicate effectively: Use strong communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members. This may include providing education and information about dialysis treatments and addressing any questions or concerns.
  5. Adhere to policies and procedures: Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure consistency and quality in patient care.
  6. Demonstrate empathy and compassion: Show empathy and understanding towards patients and their families, and provide emotional support during their dialysis treatments.
  7. Assist with patient education: Help patients and their families understand their treatment plan, medications, and self-care techniques to improve their overall health and well-being.
  8. Document patient information accurately: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including vital signs, treatment information, and any changes in patient condition.
  9. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team: Work collaboratively with other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  10. Attend trainings and meetings: Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills related to patient care and dialysis treatments.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified In Patient Care Technician (Pct) Program Or Equivalent Training From An Accredited Institution.

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Dialysis Or Nephrology Unit.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Basic Medical Terminology, Equipment, And Procedures Used In Dialysis Treatment.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Team Members.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment And Handle Multiple Tasks While Prioritizing Patient Safety And Comfort.
