- Drive quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize risk adjustment scores.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement strategies for improving risk adjustment processes.
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the risk adjustment team, including setting performance goals and providing ongoing training and support.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement and ensure accuracy and completeness of risk adjustment data.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on risk adjustment, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to support risk adjustment efforts.
- Monitor and analyze risk adjustment data to identify patterns and trends, and make recommendations for adjustments to processes.
- Communicate with providers and other healthcare professionals to educate them on risk adjustment requirements and facilitate accurate documentation and coding.
- Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
- Participate in meetings and committees to represent the risk adjustment program and provide input on organizational initiatives.
- Continuously evaluate and improve risk adjustment processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
