We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Payor Partnerships to join our team and play a crucial role in our value-based care contracting efforts. As the Manager of Payor Partnerships, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with payors to drive the success of our value-based care initiatives.   1. Develop and maintain relationships with payors to support the success of our value-based care initiatives.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective value-based care contracting strategies.
  3. Negotiate contracts with payors to ensure favorable terms and maximum reimbursement for our services.
  4. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in payor policies to inform our contracting and partnership strategies.
  5. Analyze data and utilize market intelligence to identify opportunities for new payor partnerships and negotiate favorable terms.
  6. Lead the development and execution of payor partnership plans, including identifying key stakeholders and creating action plans.
  7. Monitor and track performance of payor contracts to identify areas for improvement and ensure contractual obligations are met.
  8. Advocate for our patients and the organization by effectively communicating with payors and resolving any issues or concerns.
  9. Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement value-based care programs and initiatives that align with payor contracts.
  10. Provide regular updates and reports on payor partnerships and contract performance to senior leadership.
  11. Train and mentor team members to ensure a thorough understanding of payor partnerships and effective contract negotiation skills.
  12. Act as a liaison between payors and our organization to address any questions or concerns and foster positive relationships.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve our payor partnership processes and strategies to enhance overall performance and outcomes.
  14. Represent DaVita Kidney Care at industry events and conferences to network and promote our payor partnership initiatives.
  15. Uphold the organization's mission and values by promoting a patient-centered approach and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Value-Based Care Contracting: This Position Requires A Strong Understanding Of Value-Based Care Models And Experience Negotiating Contracts With Payor Partners. Applicants Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Success In This Area.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Reimbursement: A Manager In This Role Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations And Reimbursement Processes, As Well As Experience Working With Payor Organizations To Ensure Compliance.

  • Exceptional Communication And Negotiation Skills: As A Key Point Of Contact With Payor Partners, Strong Communication And Negotiation Skills Are Essential. This Includes The Ability To Effectively Articulate The Value Of Davita's Services And Negotiate Favorable Terms For Both Parties.

  • Leadership And Team Management Experience: This Role Involves Managing A Team Of Payor Partnership Managers And Other Staff Members. Applicants Should Have Previous Experience In A Leadership Role, With The Ability To Motivate And Guide Team Members Towards Achieving Shared Goals.

  • Analytical And Strategic Thinking Abilities: A Successful Manager In This Role Should Be Able To Analyze Complex Data And Market Trends To Inform Strategic Decision-Making. This Includes Identifying Opportunities For Growth And Developing Innovative Solutions To Challenges In The Value-Based Care Contracting Landscape.
