- Oversee the daily operations of the guest services department, including scheduling, training, and performance management of staff.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure exceptional service and guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and positive experience for patients and their loved ones.
- Maintain a welcoming and professional environment for patients and their families, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
- Monitor and analyze guest feedback and use it to continually improve the guest experience.
- Manage the budget for the guest services department, including expenses and resource allocation.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in guest services and incorporate them into the department's operations.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards related to guest services.
- Act as a liaison between patients, families, and medical staff to facilitate communication and address any needs or concerns.
- Foster a positive and supportive work culture that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
- Identify and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity within the guest services department.
- Participate in recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new guest services staff.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to staff to promote professional growth.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to develop and implement strategies to attract and retain patients.
- Represent the organization at community events and build positive relationships with external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on guest services activities and performance.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Handle any escalated guest service issues and resolve them in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Continuously seek out opportunities to improve and enhance the guest experience.
Strong Communication Skills: A Successful Manager Of Guest Services At Davita Kidney Care Must Possess Excellent Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, To Effectively Interact With Guests, Team Members, And Other Departments.
Leadership Experience: This Role Requires A Manager Who Can Lead A Team Of Guest Services Representatives In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment. Previous Experience In A Leadership Role Is Essential For Success In This Position.
Customer Service Experience: The Primary Responsibility Of A Manager Of Guest Services Is To Provide Exceptional Customer Service To Guests. Previous Experience In A Customer Service Role, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting, Is Highly Desirable.
Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations: As A Manager In A Healthcare Facility, It Is Important To Have A Thorough Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations And Compliance. Familiarity With Hipaa, Osha, And Other Regulations Is Necessary For This Role.
Problem-Solving Skills: A Manager Of Guest Services Must Be Able To Think On Their Feet And Quickly Resolve Issues That Arise. This Requires Strong Problem-Solving Skills And The Ability To Make Sound Decisions Under Pressure.
