We are currently seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as the LOA Manager, Benefits. This role is responsible for managing and overseeing our leave of absence (LOA) programs, ensuring that our teammates have access to comprehensive and competitive benefits. As the LOA Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting our teammates during times of need and promoting a healthy work-life balance.   1. Manage and oversee all aspects of DaVita Kidney Care's leave of absence (LOA) programs.
  2. Ensure that our leave of absence policies and procedures are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  3. Serve as the primary point of contact for all LOA related inquiries and provide timely and accurate responses.
  4. Collaborate with HR and legal teams to develop and implement new LOA policies and procedures as needed.
  5. Review and process all LOA requests, including FMLA, disability, and personal leaves, in a timely and accurate manner.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all LOA cases and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
  7. Serve as an advocate for our teammates by providing support, guidance, and resources during their time away from work.
  8. Educate and train managers and team members on LOA policies and procedures, including their rights and responsibilities.
  9. Collaborate with benefits team to ensure that teammates have access to comprehensive and competitive benefits during their leave of absence.
  10. Monitor and track LOA trends and provide reports to senior management for strategic planning and decision making.
  11. Stay updated on industry best practices and make recommendations for continuous improvement of our LOA programs.
  12. Maintain positive relationships with third-party vendors and partners involved in LOA administration.
  13. Work closely with HR and legal teams to ensure compliance with ADA and other relevant laws and regulations.
  14. Promote a healthy work-life balance by advocating for the use of LOA as a means of self-care and well-being for our teammates.
  15. Foster a community first, company second culture by embodying our core values and promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Managing And Administering Leave Of Absence And Benefits Programs.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Federal And State Leave Laws Such As Fmla, Ada, And State Disability Laws.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Leave Policies And Procedures To Employees And Managers.

  • Prior Experience With Hris And Leave Management Systems, Preferably Experience With Workday.
