
Licensed Vocational Nurse

- Provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients with kidney disease.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Monitor and document patient's condition and progress.
- Educate patients and their families about kidney disease and its management.
- Assist with procedures and treatments, such as dialysis, as needed.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team.
- Participate in staff meetings and continuing education opportunities.
- Follow all policies and procedures of DaVita Kidney Care.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Attend to any urgent or emergency situations that may arise.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and manner at all times.
- Continuously monitor and assess patient's response to treatment and report any changes or concerns to the physician.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations and standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the team.
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and upholding the values of DaVita Kidney Care.
Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In Nephrology Or Dialysis
Active Lvn License In State Of Employment
Knowledge Of Current Nursing Practices And Procedures, Including Medication Administration And Patient Assessment
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Families, And Interdisciplinary Healthcare Team
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment And Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously While Maintaining Attention To Detail And Quality Of Care.
