  1. Provide high-quality patient care: As an LVN at DaVita, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional care to patients with chronic kidney disease. This includes administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with procedures.
  2. Collaborate with the healthcare team: You will work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, registered nurses, and technicians, to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  3. Maintain accurate records: It will be your responsibility to maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient, including documenting all care provided and any changes in their condition.
  4. Educate patients and their families: As a trusted member of the healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in educating patients and their families about their condition, treatment options, and self-care practices.
  5. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment: You will be responsible for ensuring that the dialysis center is a safe and comfortable environment for patients, adhering to all safety and infection control protocols.
  6. Administer medications and treatments: You will be responsible for administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician, monitoring for any adverse reactions, and reporting any concerns to the healthcare team.
  7. Provide emotional support: As a compassionate LVN, you will provide emotional support to patients and their families, helping them cope with the challenges of living with chronic kidney disease.
  8. Stay current on industry trends and best practices: It will be your responsibility to stay updated on the latest industry trends and best practices in the treatment of chronic kidney disease, ensuring that you are providing the best care possible to our patients.
  9. Maintain professional standards: You will be expected to maintain a professional demeanor at all times, adhering to all ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.
