- Provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients with kidney disease.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor and assess patient's condition and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and their families on kidney disease, treatment options, and self-care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for process improvement.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to promote a positive and supportive environment.
- Attend required training and education programs to maintain and update knowledge and skills.
- Comply with all state and federal laws and regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
- Foster a culture of compassion, empathy, and respect for patients and team members.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Valid Lvn License: The Candidate Must Possess A Valid License As A Licensed Vocational Nurse In The State Where They Will Be Employed.
Experience In Nephrology: Davita Kidney Care Specializes In Kidney Care And Dialysis, So Experience In This Field Is Highly Preferred.
Knowledge Of Nursing Principles And Practices: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Nursing Principles And Practices, Including Medication Administration, Patient Assessment, And Wound Care.
Communication Skills: Excellent Communication Skills Are Essential For An Lvn At Davita Kidney Care, As They Will Be Interacting With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals On A Daily Basis.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Davita Kidney Care Operates Dialysis Centers Across The Country, So The Candidate Must Be Able To Thrive In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Work Environment.
