- Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients with kidney disease in our inpatient dialysis unit.
- Administer dialysis treatments to patients in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
- Monitor and assess patient's condition and response to treatment, making necessary adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Educate patients and their families on dialysis procedures, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and report any changes in patient's condition to the appropriate healthcare providers.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during difficult times.
- Act as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on best practices and advancements in dialysis care.
- Adhere to all regulatory and company policies and procedures.

Current Lpn Licensure: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Valid And Active Lpn License In The State Where They Will Be Working. This Ensures That The Candidate Is Qualified And Authorized To Provide Nursing Care In An Inpatient Dialysis Setting.
Experience In Dialysis Nursing: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In Dialysis Nursing. This Includes Experience In Providing Direct Patient Care, Administering Medications, And Monitoring Patients During Dialysis Treatment.
Knowledge Of Dialysis Equipment And Procedures: Inpatient Dialysis Lpns Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Dialysis Equipment, Procedures, And Protocols. This Includes Knowledge Of Different Types Of Dialysis Machines, Water Treatment Systems, And How To Troubleshoot Any Issues That May Arise During Treatment.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Inpatient Dialysis Units Can Be Fast-Paced And Require Lpns To Work Efficiently And Effectively Under Pressure. Candidates Should Be Able To Multitask, Prioritize Tasks, And Work Well In A Team Setting.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Member Of The Healthcare Team, Inpatient Dialysis Lpns Must Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills. This Includes The Ability To Interact With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Providers To Ensure Optimal Patient Care And Outcomes.
